Why did I decide to do the 100 Day Project?

In reality it seems like madness with everything else going on at the moment, but it is BECAUSE of everything else that is going on that it is exactly what I need right now.

What else is going on right now?

I am in the process of designing a range of digital products to launch my printables Etsy shop. My printables are very structured and although they are my passion, I also love creating art and being free to experiment, so I decided to do what my heart needs and spend some time creating art. What do I hope to achieve / learn / gain from doing the 100 Day Project?

I want to rekindle my love of art-making and start to conquer my perfectionist tendencies. I want to be able to create art and enjoy the process, even if the outcome is different than I had hoped for. I have so many art materials (many of them brand new) and I would like to spend some time each day playing, experimenting, discovering and growing as an artist. My perfection holds me back from creating and I am determined to start defeating it. I have realised that I am not just a designer but an artist also, and I want to pursue both my passions.
